Post-Game Surveys

Your Buzzshot subscription just got more useful! Find out what your players are thinking and stay at the absolute top of your game!

Post-game surveys are the best way to get honest and nuanced feedback from your players and they're something every escape room should consider doing. Previously though it involved setting up other software and either manual work or complex automation, but now with Buzzshot's Post-Game Survey feature you can do it quickly, easily and most of all effectively. Post-game surveys help you find out what your doing well and what could be improved, they get feedback you just won't hear other ways. And on top of that they're also great for reminding players of how much they liked your escape room and even getting extra reviews (once someone has filled out the survey we remind them to review, and it's a perfect time because they're just thinking again of how fun it was).

You can set up a custom survey to ask exaclty what you want or you can use our default one (with or without your own customisations). You can have the survey sent out at a time of your choosing after the game. The surveys don't replace the existing post-game messaging but instead compliment it, so you can send the team their photo right away and then a day later send them the feedback form.

Get a daily/weekly/monthly digest email with your reviews from TripAdvisor, Google, Yelp and Facebook

Buzzshot has long collected the public reviews left for your Escape Room and displayed them within the Buzzshot interface. This makes it easy to see the reviews you're getting all in one place. But we now support the ability to send you a digest email every day (or every week or every month if you prefer) showing all your new reviews. We think this is the easiest way to keep a handle on all the new reviews you get and make sure you'll be able to congraulation yourself and your staff for goo reviews and to swiftly respond to any reviews that need you to.

To switch ont he daily digests please go to https://buzzshot.co/admin/settings/reviewsfeedback/ and select the frequency wth which you'd like to receive your emails.

Buzzshot and COVID-19/Coronavirus

The COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic is effecting a lot of Escape Room businesses. Some have completely closed until further notice. Others are suffering lower booking numbers and higher rates of cancellation.

The Buzzshot team wish to support you.

If your business has had to shut down temporarily do let us know and we can suspend/pause your subscription for a period (either for a month now or later on once you have an understanding of your developing situation). Just tell us exactly what would help you.

If you are not shut down but are expecting lower numbers of players then let us know. You could switch yourself to a lower plan, or we could give a temporary discount. Just talk to us.

Add private feedback as an option

Most players have a great time at Escape Rooms and so most reviews of Escape Rooms are 5 star. That's why it's so useful and effective to remind people to leave a review!

But it's unavoidable that sometimes you'll get a player who just didn't have a good time. If they want to leave a bad review there's not much you can do to stop them. But you can give them another option for to let you know they didn't have a 100% experience.

Introducing Private Feedback

You can now setup Buzzshot to give your players an option to leave Private Feedback. This feedback goes directly to you and not to the review sites. They will always be given the option to leave a public review (if you do ask for those), but we find that many will be happy to let you know directly first and give you a chance to respond.

To try out this feature to go the Reviews & Feedback settings page. Please do test with your emails and SMS, if we have previously set you up with customised templates for these we may need to adjust those templates to use the new feature, get in touch at support@buzzshot.co and we'll be happy to help!

Available now: Resova Integration!

UPDATE: This is available now! It's still marked as Beta because the setup process is a little more involved than we'd like but we're happy to help with that. Click here for details on setting it up.

It's been coming for a while but we're almost there! If you'd like to try out the integration with the Resova booking software let us know by contact support@buzzshot.co today.

What can you do with Resova integration? I'm glad you asked! The Resova integration allows you to automatically email your new bookings asking them to pre-register (and pre-sign your waiver) online before they arrive. This can be a great help with reducing time when players arrive.

Print team photos directly from Buzzshot

Add an extra revenue stream to your Escape Room by selling framed prints of team photos or maybe event photo keyrings. Or just print out photos to add to your wall of fame. Whatever your reason for printing photos Buzzshot can now help!

To try it out for yourself just go to the new Printing section in the Buzzshot admin and (once you've setup a Print Template) you'll be able to print with a single click, or even bulk print a bunch of photos at once.

Instagram share button (and download button too)

Due to popular demand we have added an Instagram share button to the SMS landing page. This is the page sent out to players via SMS after each game. The button makes it easier for your players to share their photo on Instagram.

Unfortunately the button can not directly launch the Instagram app, so instead we download the photo to the user's device then give them instructions to open the Instagram app and share it from there.

We have also added a "Download" button to allow player's to just save the photo to their device. While this was possible before by holding your finger down on the photo many player's did not know how to do this, the explicit Download button makes it easy for anyone to download their photo.
